7 Days Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Depart from Marrakech and cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you will explore Atlas Studios and the historic Taourirt Kasbah.
Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura Oasis – Roses Valley – Dades Valley
After breakfast, travel through the lush Skoura Oasis and continue to the beautiful Valley of Roses, renowned for its fragrant rose fields and local products. Drive along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs while enjoying breathtaking landscapes before arriving in Dades Valley.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert
Continue to the spectacular Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most impressive natural wonders. After exploring the gorge, travel through desert landscapes and traditional Berber villages before reaching Merzouga. Enjoy a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and witness a magical sunset over the Sahara.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert Exploration
Experience the beauty of the Sahara with an unforgettable sunrise over the dunes. Explore the Erg Chebbi region, visit local nomadic families, and discover the cultural heritage of Khamlia Village, famous for its traditional Gnawa music. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the desert.

Day 5: Merzouga – Alnif – Nkob – Agdz– Ouarzazate
Depart from Merzouga and travel through the desert towns of Alnif and Nkob. Continue through the magnificent Draa Valley, home to Morocco’s largest palm grove and numerous ancient kasbahs, before arriving in Ouarzazate.
Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Tiz N’Touchk-Marrakech
After breakfast, travel through the scenic Draa Valley towards Ouarzazate and continue across the High Atlas Mountains on your return journey to Marrakech. Enjoy stunning landscapes and traditional villages along the way.
Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 7: Guided Visit of Marrakech
Discover the historic and cultural treasures of Marrakech with a professional local guide. Visit the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Garden.
End of the tour.
