1st Day: Casablanca airport – Rabat – Asilah:
After we meet you at the airport will drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, you will see the Hassan Tower and walk the Oudayas Kasbah before we arrive to Asilah most of the drive will be by the coast-where you will have the opportunity to explore the city. Asilah is known for its annual festival for the art, and most of the walls of the Medina are painted by various famous artists from all over the world. Your visit includes the Skalla fortress, where you will experience a wonderful view of the Medina and the ocean. overnight in our Hotel/Riad.
2nd day: Asilah – Tangier – Chefchaouen:
Next day morning, after breakfast we will continue our journey to the beautiful town of Chefchaouen, the Rif mountains strong hold and the most beautiful town in Morocco. Along the way you will enjoy some of the most beautiful landscape of the northern Morocco via the city of Tanger where we will visit the beautiful beach of Achakar and the famous Herculus Cave, then continue via the Rif mountains to Chefchaouen we will get afternoon then visit to this beautiful town is a must, in order to discover the real beauty that this little town that hides inside the Rif Mountains has to offer such as Outa Hamam Square, it’s beautiful medina. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
3rd Day: Full day to discovering Chefchaouen:
Today you will have a full day to explore this delightful town, with its steep, narrow streets and white and indigo lime-washed buildings. The Place Uta el-Hamman, the square at the heart of the old town, is ideal for a relaxed stroll, and is close to the Grand Mosque. Nearby are the Fondouk, the Kasbah and Museum. The Medina, with its maze of alleyways, contains more than 100 weavers’ workshops – Chefchaouen is famous for the woollen jellabas that are woven here. The Quartier Al-Andalus district also contains highly decorated and painted houses. Overnight in Riad.
4th Day : Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes:
After breakfast, we will depart to Volubilis and explore the ruins of this Roman city. You will visit the holy city of Moulay Idriss, a place of pilgrimage of all Moroccans After you will continue to Meknes where you will explore the Medina of Meknes with its beautiful Tomb of Moulay Ismail, the granary and the Sahrij Souani, used for irrigation and plantation, The Square of Lehdim, and the Gate of Bab al Mansour. You will have the opportunity to explore the souks and relax in one of the Square café’s. Later we will continue onto Fez. Accommodation at a traditional Riad including bed and breakfast.
5th Day : Exploring Fes with a local guide:
After your breakfast, you will have your local guide who will unlock the
hidden gems of Fez and make you go deeper and deeper in Fez old medina, you will discover the the medina and the famous Souks of Fes – its narrow-cobbled streets are filled with ancient mosques and towering green-glazed minarets… You will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Fes. The tour will include a visit to the tannery and the ceramics cooperative to see the traditional Moroccan crafts. Overnight in Riad including bed and breakfast.
6th Day : Fes – Ifrane – Merzouga Sahara Desert:
After breakfast, we will drive to Ifrane “the Moroccan Switzerland” and Azrou passing the Middle Atlas Mountains “Tizi n t’lghamt pass”. During our trip, we will stop in lot of area to take pictures, and have lunch in Midelt , then we continue our tour through Ziz valley, city of Errachidia, Erfoud, and after we reach the heart of Moroccan Sahara
Desert Merzouga, you will have some rest then ride your camels and trekking to the deep desert. During our camel trekking we will catch the sunset between sands dunes. A delicious dinner in Sahara Desert camp and we will enjoy this night in desert tents with Berber drums music under the clear sky and stars.
7th Day : Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades valley:
Early morning, your camel guide will wake you up to watch what will may be the best sunrise of your life. After sunrise and breakfast, you will trek back to the hotel in Merzouga where you will find your driver. Then, you’ll leave to Rissani, we will visit the Markt in Rissani , a traditional town which was the origin of the ruling family in Morocco and the meeting place of the Caravans trading as far as Timbuctou in Mali. Here you will see a lot of men hooded and women veiled, continuing to Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight accommodation will be in a fancy hotel overlooking the Dades valley.
8th Day : Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou – High Atlas Mounatins – Marrakech:
After having breakfast in the hotel, the day will start by visiting the beautiful rock formations of dades gorges. then drive along valley of roses to reach Kalaa M’gouna, and skoura, arriving to Oarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa and stop in the atlas film studios. then to the UNESCO world heritage site called “Kasbah Ait Benhaddou” classified since 1986. Ait Benhaddou Kasbah is one of many locations served as a natural decoration for many movies such as “Alexender, Gladiator, Babel…’’ and have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon we will drive to the red city of Marrakech passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Arrival to Marrakech and Drop off in your accommodation.
9th Day : Full Day to visit Marrakech with local guide:
After breakfast in riad, we start our journey sightseeing the city of Marrakech“the red city of Morocco”, it was founded in the XII century by Almoravidian dynasty. We will visit the most important cultural and historical heritage. You will have great chance to explore Saadiyin Tomb, Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque (Tower). Moreover, our guide will lead you to see Bahia square, the Souk of the city, and then you go to join the famous square of the medina where you will see and discover the fascinating serpent’s magician, “funny seminars” where some professional or humorous people tell fabulous and nice jokes. On the afternoon, you will have free time to walk around and discover other places of the city by yourself.
10th Day : Trip to Essaouira:
Next day morning, you will start travelling to the coastal city of Essaouira. Getting there after about a 2-and-a-half-hour drive to start exploring the city. Walk through the alleys of the medina and view hundreds of handicrafts. This “City of the Wind” attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira knew many civilizations – including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with much history. Because of its size and its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also regarded as Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic”. You will also visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil. Here they extract the oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic and medicinal properties. Lunch will be in the medina or in the port. In the afternoon you will travel back to Marrakech. Overnight at riad.
11th Day : Marrakech – Casablanca:
After breakfast we will leave Marrakech to visit the historical heritage of the largest city of Morocco. we will be able to explore some places in the city as the biggest Mosque Hassan II, United Nations Palace and the Coastal Seaside “Corniche”, before we come back to the hotel for overnight.
12th Day : Transfer from Casablanca to airport:
in the morning we will ransfer you to the Casablanca airport, end of the 12 days tour from Casablanca.
