After exploring Marrakech with a local guide, this tour will take you along the Atlantic coast, through imperial cities, the Rif Mountains, and into the Sahara Desert before returning to Marrakech.

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Arrival at the airport. Our driver will transfer you to your hotel or riad.
Free time to relax or explore Jemaa el-Fnaa and the traditional souks.

Day 2: Guided Tour of Marrakech

Optional guided tour with a local expert. Visit:

  • Koutoubia Mosque
  • The Medina and souks
  • Ben Youssef Madrasa
  • Saadian Tombs
  • Bahia Palace
  • Majorelle Garden

Overnight in a riad.

Day 3: Marrakech – Essaouira

Drive to Essaouira along the Atlantic coast.
Explore the UNESCO-listed medina, fishing port, beach, and ramparts.
Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 4: Essaouira – Safi – Oualidia

Travel to Safi, known for pottery and Portuguese history.
Continue to Oualidia, famous for its lagoon and birdlife.
Overnight in Oualidia.

Day 5: Oualidia – El Jadida – Casablanca – Rabat

Visit:

  • El Jadida (UNESCO site)
  • Casablanca and Hassan II Mosque

Continue to Rabat:

  • Hassan Tower
  • Mausoleum of Mohammed V
  • Kasbah of the Udayas

Day 6: Rabat – Asilah – Tangier

Drive to Asilah, known for its murals.
Continue to Tangier.
Explore the medina and enjoy views where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean.

Day 7: Tangier – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen

Travel through the Rif Mountains to
Chefchaouen.
Free time to explore the blue streets and local markets.

Day 8: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Visit:

  • Volubilis
  • Meknes
  • Bab Mansour

Continue to Fes.

Day 9: Full Day in Fes

Explore the ancient medina of Fes:

  • Fes el Bali
  • University of al-Qarawiyyin

Overnight in Fes.

Day 10: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga

Travel via:

  • Ifrane
  • Azrou Cedar Forest

Continue to Merzouga.
Overnight in hotel.

Day 11: Merzouga Desert Experience

Visit nomads and Erg Chebbi.
Camel trekking and overnight in a Berber desert camp.

Day 12: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Visit:

  • Todra Gorge

Continue to Dades Valley.
Overnight in hotel.

Day 13: Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

Visit:

  • Ouarzazate
  • Ait Benhaddou

Cross the High Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech.

Day 14: Marrakech – Departure

Transfer to the airport. End of the tour.
