15-Day Morocco Tour from Casablanca

This extensive tour from Casablanca takes you through Morocco’s most touristic and culturally rich destinations. The journey covers Rabat, Chefchaouen (“the Blue City”), Meknes, Volubilis, Fez, the Moroccan Sahara (Merzouga and Erg Chebbi), and southern regions including Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, Taznakht, Taroudant, Agadir, Essaouira, Ouzoud Waterfalls, Ourika Valley, Marrakech, and finally back to Casablanca.

Experience camel rides, stunning desert sunsets and sunrises, visit Khamlia village (the center of Gnawa music in Merzouga), explore fossil workshops in Rissani or Erfoud, and discover local crafts and traditional markets throughout the country.

Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca – Arrival & Transfer
Arrival at Casablanca Mohammed V Airport. Transfer to your hotel. Our representative will provide a brief overview of your tour.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat
Explore Casablanca: Hassan II Mosque, United Nations Square, and the coastal Corniche. Drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, and stay in a traditional riad within the Medina.

Day 3: Rabat – Chefchaouen
Visit Oudaias Kasbah, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum. Travel to Chefchaouen. Explore Utta El-Hammam square and the charming blue-and-white houses. Overnight in a hotel or riad.

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
Depart for Volubilis to explore Roman ruins. Continue to Moulay Idriss, a sacred pilgrimage town. Visit Meknes: Bab Mansour Gate, Sahrij Souani, Tomb of Moulay Ismail, and local souks. Drive to Fez and stay in a traditional riad.

Day 5: Fez – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Drive through Ifrane (“Moroccan Switzerland”) and Azrou via the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Midelt for lunch. Continue through Ziz Valley to Erfoud and Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride into the desert for the sunset. Dinner and overnight in desert tents with Berber drum music under the stars.

Day 6: Full Day in the Sahara Desert
Early morning sunrise camel ride. Visit Khamlia village to experience Gnawa music and explore Berber nomad tents. Overnight in a hotel or riad in Merzouga.

Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate
Drive through the scenic Dades Valley (“The Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs”). Stop at Kalaa Mgouna (“Rose City”) and Skoura Kasbah of Ameridil. Continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa.” Overnight in a riad or hotel.

Day 8: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Taroudant
Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue through Taznakht and Taliouine (saffron capital). Explore Taroudant’s ramparts and Medina. Overnight in a riad or hotel.

Day 9: Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira
Drive to Essaouira via Agadir. Enjoy coastal scenery with argan trees and goats climbing them. Overnight in a riad in Essaouira Medina.

Day 10: Exploring Essaouira
Guided tour of Essaouira: Skala Fortress, Thuya wood artisans, Medina alleys, and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch. Free afternoon to relax at the beach or explore. Overnight in a hotel or riad.

Day 11: Essaouira – Marrakech
Visit a women’s argan oil cooperative on the way. Continue to Marrakech and check in to your riad. Evening walk in Jemaa El-Fnaa Square.

Day 12: Full Day in Marrakech
Sightseeing: Menara Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace, and Dar Si Said Museum. Explore the colorful souks and enjoy a sunset drink overlooking Jemaa El-Fnaa.

Day 13: Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Marrakech
Day trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls (approx. 110 m high) with opportunities for hiking and wildlife spotting. Return to Marrakech in the evening.

Day 14: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ourika Valley – Marrakech
Private day trip exploring Ourika Valley and authentic Berber villages. Hike local trails and enjoy the natural scenery. Return to Marrakech in the evening.

Day 15: Marrakech – Departure
Transfer to the airport (Marrakech or Casablanca), marking the end of your 15-day Moroccan tour.
