Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes

We will meet you at the agreed location and start our journey through the scenic Rif Mountains. On the way, we will pass Tetouan and enjoy the stunning mountain views before arriving at Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most charming villages.

Explore the medina with its Spanish-style square, colorful streets, arts and crafts stores, rooftop restaurants, and cafes—perfect for lunch. Afterward, we’ll continue to Fes, where you will spend the night in a traditional Moroccan riad.

Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga (Camel Trekking)

After breakfast, we will depart south via Ifrane (“The Moroccan Switzerland”) and Azrou, passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop at the Cedar Forests to see the Barbary Apes in their natural habitat.

We’ll continue along the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt, then through the spectacular Ziz Gorges and the Ziz Valley, offering breathtaking views as the landscape gradually transitions to the desert.

After reaching Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga, enjoy a glass of mint tea before leaving your luggage in a safe room. Then, embark on a camel ride to a Berber desert camp in the middle of the Erg Chebbi dunes, the tallest sand dunes in North Africa.

The camel trek takes approximately 1.5 hours. At the camp, your Berber tents are equipped with comfortable mattresses, blankets, and cushions. After dinner, gather around the fire and enjoy traditional Berber drumming under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast. Take a camel ride back to the hotel or riad, then continue through Rissani Market and Arfoud toward Tinghir and the Todra Gorges.

Next, travel through the scenic Dades Valley, known for its dramatic landscapes and rock formations. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in the valley.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, drive through the Dades Valley toward Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.”

Along the way, pass the Valley of Roses and the Skoura village, providing excellent photo opportunities. Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Morocco’s largest kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Continue your journey through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains (altitude 2,260 m), stopping for spectacular views and a visit to an argan oil cooperative.
